I am Lynn Doyle and I teach
technology to grades K-5 at Screven County Elementary School.
Goals
for FRIT 7234:
→I look forward to
learning more about developing technology-based student learning that aligns to
state and national professional learning standards.
→I just HAVE to steal one
of Ashley Miller’s goals: “to be able to keep up with the pace. It’s been a while since I have taken a
course!”
→Effectively use web
2.0 tools, digital tools and technology resources to support the classroom
subject areas for enhancing student learning.
I love seeing that you all have common goals. Today so much of what we do happens through the filter of social media. Shared goals can certainly be a great example of that!
ReplyDeleteKeeping up with the pace is most definitely a goal that educators will have for the lifetime of our professional careers. Like the video showed, no one will ever truly be an expert in technology because the rate of its growth is akin to kudzu in the spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn
ReplyDeleteI am completely inexperienced with Web 2.0 tools. I started my research on what they are and what they do. I am very interested in learning more and I am glad we are learning about them in this class. I think technology is the best resource educators have for reaching the individual and diverse student. I also want to know how to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Hello Lynn,
ReplyDeleteI love the blog background...'books, books, everywhere'.
There was a time where I was totally inexperienced and not privy to the latest Web 2.0 tools. However, I aligned myself with our Technology Specialist and the Media Specialist--to glean from them. There is no doubt in my mind that you will reach your goals. Go forth and conquer the Technology World!
